CPG Companies Embrace AI for Personalization
A NEW STUDY from Apply Digital revealed that the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector is making a decisive shift toward AI-powered personalization. Ninety-one per cent of businesses are either already using or planning to adopt individualized digital storefronts in the near term (41% currently and 50% within 12 months), while just 17% expect implementation to take longer than a year.
Meanwhile, 96% say they are currently using or plan to use AI to enhance dynamic pricing based on the individual user. A further 90% are investing in AI to personalize discounts and promotional offers β signaling a broad push toward relevance and real-time adaptation.
The figures come from a survey of 400 senior leaders, as part of a broader research initiative into the future of personalization. The report, 2025 Leadership Priorities in Personalization, finds that CPG companies are among the most proactive in embracing AI to deliver tailored customer experiences - a trend driven by the need to stay competitive and respond to increasingly sophisticated consumer expectations.
